    freezing baby food

Hi all, My hubby is taking little man out tomorrow for some Father Son time, so i'm taking the opportunity to cook and puree foods to put into my fab (best ever invented IMHO) Annabel Karmel pots. Now, I've previously bought the plum sachets when going out which Elliot LOVES. Especially...

Teething - what do you use?

Hi all, My Son has been teething for a few weeks now, I've been able to keep on top of the dribbling and small cries with a teether, anbasol, bonjela and as a last resort calpol. The last few days he has been crying out using his teether (i think his gums are sore and sensitive) and the...

    Reflux - long post warning!

I formula feed. Elliot is on cow and gate milk. The first thing I mentioned to the Dr was changing his milk, I was told that this is the last resort! I think for the moment I will continue with the medication and await advice from the pediatrician. The only things I have found with the...

    Reflux - long post warning!

He is on cow and gate milk. The Dr has said he could be lactose intolerant and is writing to a pediatrician about him to carry out tests. I don't think he does have an intolerence though as he has always been on cow and gate and it is only the past 5 weeks or so that he has been like this...

    Reflux - long post warning!

A few weeks ago I had a frantic few days of worry with my 18 week old son. He developed a rash all over his arms, legs and tummy. Small, red and patchy. He began being sick again after each feed (literally pumping out of him). He was very quiet and was just sitting quite dosey and "can't be...

Nope he isn't hungry - he has hungry milk and has been having porridge in the morning for about 3 weeks - i too thought it was hunger, hence starting the porridge.

I have tried leaving him and he just gets himself in such a bloody state he is literally choking on sobs. I've heard of controlled crying but not entirely sure what it is??? Willing to give ANYTHING a go! lol

    At a loss...feel like crying :(

For the past 5 weeks (Elliot is 15 weeks) Elliot has been having disturbed sleeps after sleeping through from 8.30 to around 5.30, when he used to have a feed then sleep for another 2 hours before being wide awake! It began he started waking at 3am for a small feed (3oz) then going back to sleep...

    Decrease in milk...

I asked my health visitor this and apparently up to 6 months (if you wean from 4 months, like me) you should mix the food with their milk, not water. So for example, Elliot has porridge in the morning at the moment and I use 2 oz from his 6oz bottle. Eventhough on the pack of porridge it says...

    How...?

My friend has this problem - her Mum had to come and take over for a weekend so she had no choice but to have the formula - she can't get enough of it now, she's a little porker! xx

    My hungry baby!

hungry baby is great for little ones who are hungry! It doesn't have any more calories in it, it literally just fills them up quicker (it takes babies a good 10 mins to feel full) so hungry baby just bulks them up more quickly (HV told me this!) xx
