Prisoner in my own living room!

I know exactly what you mean! I've just been looking at playpens for that reason! I now put Chloe in the middle of the floor on her back if I need to pop to the loo quickly because its the only place she will be safe! She lies on her back, lifts her bum and kind of does a crab walk to get where...

to all those with episiotomys or tears...

I'm too scared to look! I tried to have a peek when I was healing but couldn't see properly! I even tried using 2 mirrors! Has anyone else found their periods are different now? I have had to use maternity pads as it is so heavy (never was before) and sometimes my bits ache :( also I feel like...

    Nap times in the day

Chloe has always slept a lot but her routine just now seems to correspond with her bottles. So after her morning bottle at 8 am she sleeps for 2 hours (sometimes more!). Then after her 12pm one she will have another 2 hour nap, usually after we have had a wee walk with the pram. And then...

    She won't laugh :(

My little one doesn't laugh either. Lots of big smiles and she kind of squeaks but has never laughed or giggled. I guess I'm just not funny enough!

    Jumperoo help!

Right so I've been looking for some new toys to keep Chloe entertained and I got the idea for the Fisher Price Jumperoo from posts on here. My dilemma is - which one? So far I've found a rainforest one, a zoo one and a sea one! They all have excellent reviews but I wondered if anyone on here has...

    What would you do??

Hey hon, so sorry you are going through all this. I can't imagine how hard it must be, I am stressed enough just with my wee one and one set of grandparents! I have it easy! My advice is to try and take a step back, I know its hard and families can be the worst things in the world at times...

Tongue tie.. Images, Lilyanna, Elyssa and Me!

Chloe was born with it, luckily the mw in hospital noticed it and they cut it the day after she was born! Better that way as no hassle and didn't seem to hurt her at all. My mum had it, and I had it. My dentist cut mine when I was about 10ish and it didn't hurt too badly. I felt so much better...

    Sleeping too much?

Oh no! It must really hurt them! I hope the tooth breaks through soon and she can feel better. I am not 100% sure if Chloe is teething yet. She slept fine last night but this morning she wouldn't go for her usual morning sleep so I am up early. I have got some housework done but I am sooooo...

    Sleeping too much?

Thanks! She was a bit unsettled last night but went to sleep and slept right through again so can't complain. Shes just been a wee bit unsettled, but I reckon she might be teething soon as she is dribbling lots and chewing on her hands! She is currentl snoozing away on the sofa and has been for...

    Sleeping too much?

Same here! Had Chloe in for her second injections on Tuesday and asked about the sleeping but they're not worried. Poor wee soul was crying at bed time, took us 2 hours and some Calpol to calm her down and get her to sleep. She still slept all night and then all morning! I hate immunsation time...
