I got my little Valentine!!!! :D After a long 12 hours of labour and a botched epidural that didn't work...I finally have my healthy little boy. He was born yesterday at 4:50 p.m. weighing 8lbs 6.8 oz and a wopping 20in long!! He is gorgeous. I had him natural vaginally and couldn't have asked...

What else is available to me other than an epidural. I am so afraid to get one of those, but I don't want to be tied down to an all natural birth if I get too scared or if it hurts too bad....help please

Being induced on Wednesday!!!!! :D :D I am gonna have my little Valentine's Day love bug! I am currently dialated at 1cm and have a small onset of preclampsia, but he said that we have a good shot at a natural vaginal delivery! I can't wait!! :shock:

Well, nothing else last night other than sleeplessness. I am going to the doctor in about an hour. Keep you fingers crossed for me!

Just went to the bathroom after having some pinching type pains in my cervix. Then there in the toilet was what looks like a bloody mucus plug! :dance: Soooo, concidering I am 40 weeks...I wonder how much longer I have to wait. I have an appointment tomorrow morning. Hopefully I'll get some...

:shock: Nothing today...and DH walked me around the department store for over an hour last night! I think my body knows that my doctor is out of town til Monday! :think: Buzzard! What was he thinking leaving town so close to my due date!

Is this your first, too then? I have read those articles about false contractions and still yet, I'm not sure if what I am having are any kind of contractions. It's like trying to describe sex to a eunuch! LOL! HE would know what the heck you were talkin about, would he!

:cheer: So glad your baby is fine! Did you MW suggest anything like pelvic tilts to get baby in the right possition? Hopefully bubs will turn around for you! Can you believe how close you are?!! :shock: This time next week you'll probably be holding and cuddling your little bundle of joy!

Well, still here. I feel better today than yesterday..blah! I wish I could just have one contraction so I would know what to look for. With this being my first, I'm not sure what to expect. Even as much as I ask and read about it, I still just don't know. :oops:

Hey, I just got this. Everything is fine now and I slept pretty well. I have noticed that bubs isn't moving much last night and this morning. Maybe he is getting ready. What about you, Ginger? Hope you are doing well, too.....lol or NOT, I take that back! I hope you are in labor! lol

I have had similar symptoms today, too. My back mainly is KILLING me! Everytime I stand up I feel like my insides are going to fall out. It's a really wierd pain. Still no show, although everytime I go to the bathroom I expect to see something. Well, I am getting off line til tomorrow, maybe by...

Hey, the good news it that lots of people tell me that they felt GREAT right before they went into labor. Like a "calm before the storm" kinda thing. Welcome to the anxiously, impatient, due sooners! LOL! :x
