    Good to be back :)

Hello, I've not visited this forum for ages! My little girl is now 3 and somehow I've found myself back here ;-) another shock but I am very happy now. This forum was such a huge help and font of wisdom last time (just made myself giggle reading all my worries then...) So I' very glad to be...

    Is it just me?

I have it all the time, her name is Elizabeth, I named her after my Mum who was known to friends as Bessie, now I wouldn't mind so much the Bet, Betty, Bessie abreviations but it's Liz and Lizzy , she gets called it all the time -Even by her Dad!!!!!! it goes through me! Now I do like the name...

*Help badly needed...7 month old started waking at 4am!!!

Thanks Lisa, TBH it is feeling like 'time' she moved into her own room now, I'm just worried I'll get less rest and create more noise going from room to room with every whimper and I guess a little part of me doesn't want her that far away from me also (working full time I feel like I hardly...

Brocolli?? Any reason that you can think that would have caused it or just irrational fear? That's funny. I wonder will it stay with her? Do you find reaction to the tickling so sweet? Elizabeth just sort of freezes and looks to the middle distance mind you I'd probably like it if somebody...

    Llikes & Dislikes

I've recently discovered that Elizabeth absolutely adores being tickled really lightly on her back, as soon as I start she just stops dead and sort of 'zones out' she gets little goose bumps on her arms and if I do it for long enough she falls into a contented sleep, it's only recently I've...

    keeping cool..

It's the opposite in our house, oh would happily keep her in just a nappy in all weathers and accuses me of being obsessed with vests but I don't know what it is i just think she looks too 'bare' or something! I am givcing in to his naturist ways in this weather though.... I also have a thing...

    diarrhea... hot weather??

I've noticed more & runnier poos from Elizabeth seem to coincide with the hot weather too (just what you need with a hot grumpy baby anyway...) but I wasn't sure if it was because she seems to take more water/juice over her food during hot spells. See what happens at the weigh in, hope all is...

    keeping cool..

We had a bit of a storm earlier so the rain really helped cool the air for bedtime but.... it's gone all muggy again so it's just nappy and very light blanket (to be kicked off and replaced by me at least 4 times an hour all night) :wall: :wall: :wall: x

    when did your LO laugh??

About 12 weeks I think, you'll see it soon I bet. I found she started laughing whenever we said anything at all in a high pitched voice! obviously the sillier the words/noise the better but she definately laughed most at my higher pitched friends than us. Hope you get your laughs very soon. xx

    keeping cool..

Just wondered how you were all coping with keeping little ones cool, I've just had mine stripped to her nappy and kept all the windows open! I know we only have a very small number of hot days a year in this country but do any of you have any tips??? xcx

*Help badly needed...7 month old started waking at 4am!!!

Thanks Ladies, I feel bad now complaining when obviously for some it's the norm to be woken, It's only because it came out of the blue when she'd happily sleep though with the minimum of fuss for the last few months. She does take her bottle when I give her one but if that's comfort eating I...
