For those of you who keep cooled, boiled water in the fridge..... how much do you top up with boiling water when ur ready to feed. Is this the easiest way of doing it...... am a bit of a bottle novice I'm afraid :oops: Ta

I started yesterday (4mnths) as she has been waking in the night ravenous for a week now. Here's hoping it all goes well :pray:

I freeze about 3oz at a time as she's a bit of a pain at taking a bottle at the mo and I can't bear to throw it :wall:

Am using closer to nature tt which she loved to start with but after a gap of about 5 weeks she now can't stand them even with no2 teet. Take :)

Am bf ing my lo and she has the odd bottle. All of a sudden she has started to fuss and refuse a bottle and I just don't know why. Does anyone have any ideas that might help? Thanks guys

I've got the Loola with the carry cot and maxi cosi car seat. No problems so far, the cot is great and can be used as a long distance car seat as it lays them flat. I would have gone for the creatis but I wanted an isofix seat. I bought them all seperately and saved a fortune on the travel...

I had no idea that they HAD to provide somewhere and that you could do it when you were supposed to be teaching. I don't think I'd be confident enough to ask for the time, especially as it's a private school too. :wall:

Have got the Maxi Cosi cabrio fix and I've just taken the newborn insert out as she was all scrunched up in it. She seems fine size wise in it but I have noticed that when the seat is clipped in the base it makes her head tip forward. Should I put the insert back in or can you buy or put...

Charlie has a bath every day in the mothercare baby bath and a hair wash too, then baby oil on her body and this is probably all wrong but have found the Avent cleanser works best on her dry eyebrows :oops: . I don't really do anything for the cradle cap as I thought they all got it. My HV said...

With going back to work looming I was hoping to get LO started on the bottle at 5 mnths but all the follow on type milk says 6 mnths onwards. I was also hoping to start her on purees around about then too. Please can you offer advice as to how to go about it. Oh and I would try to keep feeding...

Do what's best for you and LO hun, and b*ll*xs to the profs, IMO they all offer conflicting advice anyway. I was bottle fed in the 70s when I doubt that formula was as advanced as it is now and I'm as fit as a fiddle. (so far) Crack on hun you're doing a great job :hug:

Yep I used gallons of both of them on HVs advice too. At 12 weeks it vanished over night but am just finishing off the infacol just incase it hasn't quite gone. I feel for you, it's a horrid time :hug:

LO had jabs yesterday but i couldn't watch, I shut my eyes, she broke her heart poor thing. Anyway she was upset for most of the evening but slept well through the night. I was just wondering what sort of side affects I should expect and how long it lasts :pray: before she settles down again...
