like a double shot of gin, then fill the (tumbler) up to the top with tonic. It's lovely and citrussy..even more so with a wedge of lime. Too much gin though and its :puke:

Awww now I want some and can't have one cos I'm still BF

i think we put too much gin in then. We had gone on our first holiday together to center parks when we were 18. We thought we were dead cool drinking hard liquer :rotfl:

mmm gin and tonic. Just the thing for a hots summer day (that or a pint of ice cold lager)

I can't think of what I'd have, too much choice.

Try it again (maybe buy one in a pub? LOL) and let me know what you think.

Lots of people make the mistake of trying neat gin (or smelling it) and thinking they'd hate GnT...it's a lovely refreshing drink IMHO

i will. ill pack some in my hospital bag and try it as soon as ive had the baby! :rotfl:

Gin is good with bitter lemon, mmm can't wait to have a proper drink again. I had a glass of champers yesterday and could have really polished off the bottle

Apparently, in years gone by, they called Gin "mothers Ruin" because it caused miscarriage. When a woman was due, she would also drink loads of gin to start labour.

so nowi know what to do if i go overdue.

mmm gin and tonic with a slice of lime :D i want i want i want!!!! arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh  :shakehead: :shakehead: :shakehead: walks off in a huff!
