Writing a resignation letter

Can anyone help?I need to write a leter to say I won't be returning to work and have no idea how to word it. Thanks.

something along the lines of:

Dear {x}

I hereby give you {X} weeks' notice of my intention to leave my position as {x}, as per my contract of employment.

I have enjoyed my time at {x} and this was not an easy decision, but one that I feel is right for me at this time.
