I just got my letter and mine is on August 29th - I'll be 11+6 according to my dates and 13 according to LMP.... I can't wait....

she did say that my consultant may well want to scan me on the 17th august but wont hold my breath !

You lot have a long wait for your scans don't you?! I only found out my scan date two weeks before the appointment and it seemed like ages to wait for me!

Mine is on 22nd. Or at least then it's when I see the midwife for the first time, is she gonna do the scan? I hope so because I can't wait

when u see the midwife for the first time they dont normally do the scan there n then,they usually book u in for a scan though. but it may be different in u area?

Hmm, you are probably right and I have no idea how it works here...

I just thought it's really strange that I haven't talked to ANYBODY about this pregnancy yet. I had a doctor appointment and he simply booked me in with the midwife a month later. he asked me "anything else?" and I thought "hello, you are the doctor!!! you tell me what to do!!!".
I had to find out dos and don'ts by myself, I didn't have a period for nearly 10 weeks and if i was waiting for doctors I still wouldn't know what's going on! well, I would know but I'd like to know how my baby is doing, how big it is etc (website say different things).

Back home (Italy) my sis was offered a scan at 8 weeks for no particular reason, just to take a look

I don' even know when I'm due... I find it a bit frustrating that they would ignore you for the whole first trimester...well, let's just wait and see...
