Before LO cut her teeth, she was happy to eat everthing I gave her. Since the two bottom ones appeared she has changed her eating completely.

She went off food completely for 2 weeks while they came through and would only drink milk. Now she is back on food again but this time will not eat any pureed food or food on a spoon. SHe shuts her mouth and cries. Drama drama drama

Everything has to be a chunk, lump etc something she can pick up and bite. That is fine BUT she takes ages, even with me popping bits in her mouth and I am not sure that she is really full or getting enough. I don't want to have to feed her every hour because she took one hour to eat a rice cake :bored:

Any ideas how to feed her?

I'm probably not going to help but If she's happy to do it herself then I'd let her, she's going to have to learn sometime and as she learns the quicker she will be able to eat things.

I just give Lola fresh ripe fruit her faves are banana, pear and grapes :D

I would leave her to it and enjoy the time together. Charlotte and I regularly take an hour over lunch and breakfast and I think she learns so much in terms of socialising and the skills to feed herself.

Hi there! As you know, we have the same situation. I decided to give in (also, talked to my GP today who said that was actaully brilliant news - we should be aiming for them to feed themselves and just to relax and enjoy it)
But I discovered new brand of organic pures that Danica is happy to eat. It is called Ella's kitchen and it comes packed in such a way that baby can hold it and suck the content out - thus feeding herself. It is very messy and takes a little bit of learning but it is worth it! The only thing is that I am not sure if you could find it in Switzerland?
Also, I decided to invest in baby safe feeder: hope it will make life easier!
Finally, don't worry about Eden not gatting enough - I regularly find evidence of proper food in Danica's nappy although I am convinced nothing goes down!
Speak to you soon!

As everyone else has said, I'd let her feed herself, Isaac went off the spoon too and loved feeding himself, still does :)

Marijana FC we add the Ella's Kitchensauces to pasta for Isaac, he loves them, there's a new Italian one out now too :D
