I'm not planning on buying anything yet we are just putting money aside and then buying later on because im very early into my pregnancy but I was just wondering where to go for things.

Ive already seen a multipram ( car seat, lie down new born and sit up) on asda living website so I know thats the kind of pram I want and that one if its still there in a few months.

Any suggestions where to shop for any other baby stuff? Not too expensive though xx

I got my stuff from a variety of places, if you see something check if mothercare stock it, search online for the cheapest then take the evidence with you, mothercare will price match from anywhere other than eBay. Got £120 off my travel system by doing this and had the advantage of buying from a 'real' shop for peace of mind, also bought and still buy bits from Verbaudet. Join baby clubs and subscribe to baby offers via email, you never know when you'll come across a good deal. Hth

I've just bought a load of baby clothes 0-3months, from the local charity shop for £3.

The same clothes would of cost me £6 each in shops!

I bought a lovely cot bed from eBay for £46 (it's still in Babies 'r' us for £140) - so I'd definitely recommend checking out eBay for stuff. Also try any local NCT nearly new sales (I'm going to one on Saturday and I can't wait!). And then there's Freecycle - people give away some great stuff there.

I don't know about your area, but near me we have 2 second hand nursery shops - I got a bouncer chair for £5!

Gumtree is good for second hand stuff. I bought a swinging crib for £35.

There are so many things you don't need so ask if unsure.

Next sale is always good for baby clothes. Asda and Tesco have good, reasonable stuff too.

If I could go back I'd honestly just buy 10 babygrows in up to 3 months lol. So much easier!

Gumtree is great for cribs and cots but I would buy a new mattress . I got all of Ruby's baby grows and sleep suits for asda and primark as they were cheap . Majority for her clothes are from next as I find the price reasonable and the clothes are good quality and wash really well . For 0-3 I would not but a lot of actual clothes just keep your baby in sleep suits or rompers .
