When they stop needing a pushchair?

When do kids usually stop being in the pushchair for around town etc?

I know they get less and less use of one but not sure when exactly Mums tend to stop using them fullstop?

I only use mine once in a while now- normally if I am going somewhere busy. Have ditched it for trips up the local shops (bout a 15 minute round trip- takes about an hour with Evie lol) and we walk up to the nursery in the morning.

I paln to have gotten rid of it full stop by her 3rd birthday- I am an awful buggy driver!

Same Caitlin walks to the shop etc but she just won't walk if shes tired then theres town etc Im so much more comfortable that shes in one tbh she starts nursery Monday and Im taking the buggy ...Im no good in the mornings lol

I would say around 3 or 4. If you are out shopping and they are tired its good to have one with you and also if they don't want to go in, then a good place for the shopping!

good thread i was thinking about this yesterday, as maddi spent about 2 hours walking around the shops, but don't think she's quite ready yet for no pram

I don't use ours anymore, she walks everywhere. Aslong as she's not tired she'll walk

We still use a pushchair,sometimes we go out without,but i prefer to have her safe when we're out shopping etc

I'm hoping until 3, it's a nightmare running round after Joe in shops never mind Miss Katie as well

Although, short walks, in/out of shops type thing or restaurant and she walks

They're alot more steadier on their feet at 3, Joe still used the double beginning of the summer but he's lazy

jason is 3 in march and still uses the buggy ... occasionally as he gets tired but im hoping he'l be out of it by then as he is very heavy lol.. i wear adrianne so no need for a buggy for her
