I haven't felt little Pip move since yesterday afternoon and normally they have a very regular pattern - when I eat and when I get into bed at night. I haven't got a dopplar to check the HB and was just wondering when I should contact my MW? thanks ladies xx

Hi Hun, I had this for a couple of days and was worried but then bubba had a couple of mental days. I have a Doppler and this is where they come in very handy and put your mind at rest.
I would say everything is fine but if you are ever concerned just contact your midwife as after all I'm not qualified to advise you.
Xx

Perhaps try eating or drinking something sugary like some lucozade and haribo, that should get him wriggling! That's what they say to do when they need baby to move position for an ultrasound.:)

I'm sure all will be fine. :)

Xx

I would agree, drink some coke, the caffeine normally gets them moving. My midwife advised contacting them if I hadn't felt any movement for a day. I also felt more when I lay down so make sure you do that and jump around etc just to check xx

Baby may be going though a growing stage therefore movement is very little. I had a worrying moment at 29 weeks and all they could do was get the doppler out and check her hb. Id say in stead of driving yourself crazy with worry contact your midwife but she may just advise you to do what the thers are saying, cold drinks, sugary things etc etc xx

Hi, iv had this a couple of times. Have a Doppler so was able to put my mind at rest, on quiet days when I listened to the heartbeat there was a difference to where the baby was, sounded much further away. So I just guessed that it was at the back, facing the other way, and that's why I couldn't feel it. But I know now I'd only leave it a day and speak to midwife if I never felt anything.

I had this last week hun, I drank some cold coke and had a lie down and LO started wriggling around a bit, felt like s/he was in a different position than normal though x
