When did ur baby start sitting up?

My lo is 6 half months old & he rolled over for the first time on monday
When did ur babies start to sit up?

My lb was 5.5 months when he sat up. They're all totally different x

My daughter could sit up from just before she turned 5 months but as candymycandy said they’re all different. My little one rolled at 3 months, sat up at nearly 5, crawled at 6 months could pull to standing a few weeks later cruising at 8 months and walked at 9. She was very quick. I have friends who’s babies that are 1& months and still not walking. They’re all so very different.

My baby started sitting up on his own when he was 7months, so I guess you're fine.

My lo isn't sitting up on his own yet. He'll be 5 months on Friday. He does sit nicely in as highchair though. At the postnatal support group I go to you can really see the variation. There is a 5 month old sitting like a pro (he's 2 days younger than my lb) and 7 month olds who are just starting to sit. The group is great as you see just how different each baby progresses.
