whats the current teen trend??

Sounds stoopid question, but what's cool at the moment? The rape centre I wrote about in Adult Area is lacking stuff for the female teenager age group in their waiting rooms so I was going to have a look for magazines/books/games etc.. but I haven't the foggiest what's actually "cool" at the moment for 13-18 yr olds...

Hannah Montana? Or is that too baby? And is that the same thing as High School Musical?

Help me be cool!

i work on a teenager ward and to be honest they all seem to be in to there i pods, mp3 players mobile phones, boys!!

if i think of anything else will add it later.

Probs a bit too old for High School Musical would be alright for the 13-15yr olds but I think that might even be pushing it a slight bit.

Music mags are usually a good thing, or just general teenage mags like bliss and stuff.

magazines like nme, Q, kerrang and beauty/fashion/celebrity magazines (which theres millions off)

i read 'adult' (hahaha no like that!!! ) magazines at 14+

the ones you menchened id say where for the under 11s.

Thanks girls.. When I was teen I was just into music too, and 'more' magazine (to laugh at position of the fortnight) but they're not allowed anything remotely sexual in case it causes upset, so I guess music is a good bet. Any more ideas well appreciated

Nailpolish. Get loads of nail sets and get them to learn all thw wee designs

Angus,Thongs & Full Frontal snogging books are ok...and the Meg Cabot books...no sex but girly...

my daughter is 12 & she hates High School Musical now! & she secretly watches Hannah Montana, but wont admit it!
she likes reading about makeup/boys/fashion.
she loves My Chemical Romance!
