What Was Your Favourite Song(s) As a Child?

I had the vinyl album 'All aboard' and my favourite track was 'My boomerang won't come back'.

My mum and dad still have the record somewhere and they did have me on 8-track singing along to it. They used to put headphones on us then record us singing :)

not a kids song, but Phil Colins 'You can't hurry love'
I used to sing it all the time so my dad brought it for me. It was the first record I ever owned.

My first fav grown up song was 'Hit me with your rhythm stick' by Ian Dury. And my first record was The Bangles 'Walk like an egyptian' I think, or might have been something else  I canny remember. Oh no I think it was Run DMC and Aerosmith's 'Walk this way'. :)

:rotfl: I remember seeing him in that video as a child and thinking he was some sort of beautiful creature. I didn't even know if he was a man or woman, I'd never seen anything like him before. Obviously I then grew into the rock chick that I am so I expect he is to blame in some subconscious subliminal kind of influential way :D

He is sexual chocolate

My first ever record was Eddy Grant I don't wanna dance

I always thought that song went "I dont wanna dance, dance with no big fat woman" cos thats what my Dad would sing to my mum :rotfl:

Steven Tyler - yes he is indeed one beautiful creature, sexual chocolate, my god what he could do with those luscious lips (has a moment......)

Ok......

My fave songs as a kid were "Ernie - The fastest milkman in the west", the whole Wombles album, Pinky and Perky, and some random nursery rhyme album I had that had some awesome electric guitar on it :rotfl: :rotfl:

My first singles were Aha - Take On Me, and 5-Star
