I have put my back out big time, i can barely move and am in agony, is there anything stronger than paracetamol i can take just so i can at least get off the sofa for a wee.
I did exactly the same thing at 15 weeks.... I had paracetamol, deep heat pads, and nurofen gel stuff....I was even rushed to casualty when it happened it was so bad....and that was all the docs would do...
I did visit a private physio for 45minutes every day for 4 days till I went on our dream holiday (yup bad timing or what ) SHe worked wonders...at least I could walk after that....
Don't bank on the sonographer being the person to tell you what you can take or not take medication wise. Unless you are seeing another Doctor or your MW to ask then
If your Doctor has said codene then it should be ok. He/she would not tell you to take it if they felt it was unsafe for you.
you can take codeine during pregnancy over a short period of time, but over longer periods baby can become dependent on it..so i was told by my midwife today
