I know it will vary but just wondering what mums with older children found?

As soon as he started to walk, he started complaining about going in his buggy. It was a battle of wills for a while

agreed  Tia was the same...but she was only about 8 months old  also watch out because they will exert their will by climbing out of the buggy...we has loads of probs with Tia because the reins on the buggy couldn't hold her as she could dislocate her shoulder (she doesn't have any muscles holding it fixed) and just slip her arms out and be gone...lost her in Sainsbury's when I first found out she could do that... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

edit to say it wasn't so funny at the time... :x

Jessica would still let me push her in the buggy if I let her. I cant as Joe is in the buggy but she is on the buggy board. She hates walking. I could see a scenario Joe will be walking and Jess will be in the buggy.

Braydon is still fine with going in his pushchair as long as he can walk occasionally :D

Lydia likes to walk but will go in her pushchair when she's tired. I've just bought a seat 2 go to go on Alex's pushchair actually which she likes a lot.

Hannah walks 90% of the time but i do make her go in if we are near busy roads

Isaac has to be man handled into his sometimes :) I can't walk him anywhere without his buggy because if he's had enough of walking he is too heavy to carry. If you walk them in their buggy then get them out always make sure you have a packet of something, choccy buttons are good, to lure them back in to the buggy when you want them too. Isaac has started being annoying now and dragging his feet along the floor when he is in his stroller but in his big buggy he is still comfy. The only problem I've had is that if its raining I get soaked. Somebody needs to invent an umbrella for parents that attaches to the buggy handles  Dragon's Den anyone?

Aimee started wanting to walk most of the time when she was about 18 months. Now at 27 months she hardly ever goes in her pram, if I need her to go in it I have to bribe her. Luckily Nathan doesn't mind going in his pram yet, I'm dreading having 2 of them running off. I did let him walk home from the shops the other day but hes not to good at walking in shoes yet and when he falls he keeps his legs straight and head butts the floor with his bum stuck up in the air. :rotfl:

Mine is only 6 months but the number of times I end up carrying her while pushing the pram is increasing

Its abit premature but I just wondered as I am hoping for a BFP soon as wondered if I would need to buy a double buggy or if my DD would be out of a buggy altogether??????????????
