Just got a letter from Boots this morning as my Advantage Card shows I've bought some.

Aquafresh are recalling ALL of their Milk Teeth toothpaste bought after 8th January 2009 from Boots with the Batch code BN388G (batch code can be found on the crimp line of the toothpaste itself). Apparently they've put an ingredient in it which could cause an allergic reaction in some children

Just thought I would let you all know in case you have this toothpaste so you can check the Bath Code. Boots are refunding or exchanging all purchases (without receipt).

Also amusingly the letter contains the line "the safety of our customer's children is very important"... grat apostrophe usage! They must only have one customer!!!! :rotfl:

I've just checked and ours has that code- ours brought from Sainsburys, so it isnt just Boots bought toothpaste.

Thanks for the warning :D

Silly old me used it on her teeth tonight while we were in the bath out of force of habit. I'm an eejit.

Thanks for that! Phew ! Just checked and we're ok..

aquafresh is mostly trusted brand and but after reading this i surely check again

This is an old thread so I assume they're all safe now (I didn't actually realise that until I'd checked our batch number though ) Going to close this now so people don't worry for no reason x
