Sorry if i sound stupid but im getting really confused with the whole expressing thing. ive started expressing breast milk and freezing it so that i can use a bottle every now and then in case i go out and leave baby with OH or something. so, ive read that to defrost the milk its best to leave it in the fridge overnight. but... is it necessary to warm the milk before giving it to baby? or will it be okay at room temp? and what do i do if im giving him the bottle when im out somewhere? Heat it up before I go? Sorry, im sure i sound really daft but i find the whole bottle thing quite confusing and much more of a hassle that just letting him latch on to my boob!
Any advice appreciated! thanks! x

we heat up the bottle in a bowl of hot water if it's come out the fridge, but if it's room temp we dont usually bother as ryan only really complains if the milk is very cold. when we are out we just give it to him room temperature. if you want it warm though you could pop into a supermarket cafe and ask for some hot water and most places would be happy to oblige.

thanks for the advice leckershell....
I think i will try and get him used to room temperature milk for when we are out! Hopefully he wont need the bottle often, its only for emergencies really.
Thanks again.
