I have been readin this book about routines and in it it says about wakin babies up in the mornin... wel i have never woke keeley up she has always woke me up... :?

I was wonderin have i been doin it wrong? am i supposed to be wakin her up the mornin?

the only reason i have woken B up is if we have work/nursery and that is only very occasionaly normally he has me up

unless we are going out i let alice wake herself.

although saying that.... she does tend to wake around 7am anyway :)

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Like the other ladies only if were going out early :)

the only times I have woken Emma up is when we have had to get up early, which hasn't been very often, she normally wakes naturally at around 8, but I wouldn't wake her unless I really had to :D

i never wake the kids
unless there day time nap goes past 4hrs lol then i might start making a noise to get them up

my kids sleep quite a bit 7pm - 7.30am 11am - 2pm

have never woken Jamie deliberately, he knows when to wake up when somethings goin on tho lol, its like he senses it!

 bloomin nora do you sedate them!

Willow will sleep 7.30 - 7 and Conal 7.30-8 but Willow has about an hour in the day and conal about 4 but from 9.30-11 and 1-3 depending on what we are doing

Heather still in shock

I have always woken charlie between 7am and 7.30, i figured when i go back to work he will be getting up then so i wanted him to be in that routine. He goes down at 7.30pm and sleeps thru but doesnt sleep much in the day.

nooooooooooooooooooooo not on your nelly alfie wakes at 6am im not waking up earlier to wake him, and he gets grumpy if i wake him from naps. As he naps in his cot now instead of his buggy it does make nipping out hard as i have to wait untill he wakes up but i think whatever it is i need to pop out for isnt as important and can wait, and when alfie wakes up hes normally a happy little chappy and more than up for going out.

I put Ellie down at 7:30pm and wake her (if she isn't already awake) at 7:30am. Most mornings she is already awake but just happily "chatting" to herself. Sometimes I have to go in at 6:30am because she is distressed (normally caused by a dirty nappy), in which case I will change her, feed her and then put her back down until 7:30. I personally believe in "nighttime" being those 12hrs. Unusualy I had to wake Ellie this morning but that was because I had to go in and feed her twice last night (11:45 and then 5am), however seeing she missed her solid supper due to us getting caught in traffic (we stopped and I gave her a breast feed when she got hungry as I didn't plan for bad traffic and didn't have any solid food to give her :( ) coming back from the in-laws, then she was very car sick the last few mintues before we got back to the house. That really wasn't bad going

The best piece of advice my mother ever gave me was never wake a sleeping baby lol
