Hello,
Was wondering if anyone had tried taking supplements to help with irregular periods? I've been reading a bit on the net and some places say that certain vitamins and minerals like vitamin B, omega and magnesium can help.

Was wondering what anyone else thought and also if it was a good idea to be taking those supplements when trying for a baby in case they would have any bad effects on pregnancy?

Thanks

Vitex Agnus Castus is good for regulating periods and also good for PMS symptoms. It is not recommended to take in pregnancy though. I took 3 tablets a day for 1.5 wks before my first period after stopping the pill, I don't know if the tablets helped to make my period come but I didn't get any PMS symptoms. Then I couldn't be bothered buying another bottle and for my next period I had nausea, vomiting and really bad cramps! So I am def taking the tablets next cycle! Here is some info-
