I'm really worried - this isn't pregnancy related, although I'm worried will affect bean. Woke up this morning with a sore teeeny lump under my skin on my arm pit. Thought to myself would see what happened and call GP tomorrow...
Pain has gradually increased throughout the day and I'm now feeling very flu like. There are also two more little lumps developed and are very painful
The reason I'm worried, is that when I was younger I had an infected toe and ended up feeling very flu like, very quickly. Went to A & E and had tracking cellulitis. They told me if i slept on it, I would have developed septicemia overnight, and would have required a blood transfusion. With my toe you could certainly see the red tracking right up my leg, but I can see anything under my arm. The only thing i have is that I've woken up too with a slightly infected ring finger. (wwas worse yesterday, but it's still very painful.)
I'm not sure whether to sleep on it, and risk further spread of incfection (if thats what it is) or to go to a and e now and see what they say. I don't want to waste their time. Last time it all happened so fast, and this time my immune system is working for two, so worried about that!
Any advice would be much appreciated!
