Hi Girls

Still here - sorry haven't logged on for a while. I finished up at work a week ago so have been spending some quality "couple" time with Hubby before he's back to work on Tuesday and before baby arrives....

Speaking of which I think this little boy is going to keep my waiting. I've had a few bad nights, cramping, back ache, lots of discharge (sorry TMI) and been led there getting all excited - only to spend an entire night NOT SLEEPING and NOT GOING IN TO LABOUR and be totally knackered the next day!

I know a lot of you have gone/went overdue, but its sooooo frustrating when you're all ready and nothing is happening. Saw MW last week and my BP was up a bit, but no sugar or protein in my water. They mentioned the word "induction" already but I really don't want to be doing that.

So apart from sex, fresh pineapple and bouncing on my birth ball like a nutcase there's not much else I can do!!

It's lovely to see the girls I've been on the forum with getting their babies though - Lozzi and Zoe, etc

WHEN'S IT MY TURN!!!!

Aww it won't be much longer for you now hun and it's hard when you approach your due date and nothing is happening  I went 11 days overdue with my baby and went into be induced. Just hang in there hun

I was just thinking about you before that you hadn't been on for a while. Thought you'd had baby. You sound in the exact same situation as me and its so frustating isn't it. i keep getting pains then nothing  Hope it happens for us soon!

Hi Kellie - I thought you'd popped too!

Mind you at least you know what labour feels like - I keep thinking "ooh this is it" and then it all goes away!

Was even tempted to jump on the horse tonight and try to get things moving but OH would have killed me!!!

I think we'll be having February babies!

Dont worry hun, shant be too much longer & thats when the fun starts :D

Also some women dont have any signs, go to bed & wake up in labour so it could happen for you soon hun!

It doesn't help having done it before! I still think every pain i get is the start, lol. I'm fully expecting a Feb baby too. I really wanted to start naturally at home this time cos with my other 2 i started in hospital and this is my last baby. Not happy to still be here :( Plus it makes it worse that my LMP made me due on the 24th so that was playing on my mind. Hope things kick off for you soon  Have you got an induction date yet if you need it? I have an appointment on Thursday to get one.

Seeing my MW on wednesday for usual check up and she's going to phone the hospital then to book me a consultation for the following week (when I'll be 41 weeks). She said they will probably offer me a sweep when I go, then if nothing happens will have me back 4 days later (when I'll be 12 days overdue) for an induction. So nothing is really concrete at the moment.

Had a fairly good night, getting lots of period type pains right down low before I went to sleep, and woke up this morning feeling like I had trapped wind - and getting lots of Braxton Hicks.

We started timing and they were about every 20-30 minutes so I suppose it may be another practice run. I'm up and about now and my tummy is still sore but I've not had any more pains.

Going to the stables to muck out in a minute - see if that shifts anything!!

Wouldn't it be odd if he did arrive on his due date!!!!

This is exactly how it happened for me!

Your nearly at the finishing line now chick not long, then the fun really starts!

Try eating onion bhajis. I ate FOUR the day before I went into labour and I swear the spiciness made Zac want out :rotfl:
