TTC and having a cold

We are having really bad luck ... every fertile phase something gets in the way. This month I've come down with a heavy fluey cold. Does anyone know if this affects getting pregnant? I don't really feel like dtd but will soldier on if I have to! Don't want to miss another month.

A cold in itself won't stop it but being stressed can. I've been in your situation and agree DTD is no fun sometimes! Fx for you x

I feel for you!! We had exactly the same problem at new year. We did soldier through just so we knew that we'd tried. It did feel like a bit of a chore I have to admit!!

My best friend conceived both her children when she had stinking colds. She also never shifted the cold each time until she was about 12 weeks.

i think it will not affect your fertility but it will certainly affect your husband if he catches cold. so it would be better first deal with cold and then ttc

yeah, he has it and is wiped out. Haven't managed to dtd yet. Fingers crossed for today.
