Becky has been teething for MONTHS. Yesterday we finally caught sight of the tooth below the gumline . It wasn't raised or red or anything so I figured it would be ages. Today it broke the surface and I only realised when it bit my finger! She has been sleeping horrendously for the past fortnight and has been clingier than a limpit so I'm relieved to say the least that we have something to show for it.

I would like to know, though, if anyone can help....

How long does it take for the tooth to go from just being sharp pointy bits at the gumline to actually being up? How long have folks waited to see a second/third/fourth?

Oh and I'd like to thanks Lara and Phoebe because I asked them for toothypeg dust and it worked

DSL we should race! Ella's first tooth is just coming through, a tiny tiny white bit and her other one should be the same soon! She's been fine though, apart from a few explosive nappies today!

Logans came up quite quickly, only a few days. We noticed his second one 4 days after the first so they can be very close together.

My Logan produced his two bottom one's at the same time about a week ago, they're still only half way up atm. It's surprising how sharp they are!

Hi Sue nice to see you Need to see piccies of his gnashers!

We had a day and night of shining light after it emerged! She slept through for the first time in ages and was an absolute gem Monday and Tuesday. Yesterday night she was up about 467 times and her face is bright red again so I'm guessing the other isn't far behind. Must be uncomfortable

can you share some of the toothy peg dust our way please? Iz has been teething for bloomin' aaaaaggges, bless her. She's waking up in the night a lot more than usual crying her eyes out, and the last couple of days she's been soo clingy i couldnt even lie her in her cot for a nap without her going mad until i picked her up (and she usualy goes down for her naps no preoblem)

Fingers crossed Izzies teeth are on the way!!

And congrats on the peggies Becky! Hope her second one comes through soon xx

Sounds exactly the same so have lots of these Bet it won't be long now.

We've just had a big fat screaming match as she's refused to go down for a (short) nap and finally she passed out in my arms lying on our bed. Her top is SOAKED with drool.

Phoebe's is still only a few mm up after almost 2 weeks. The second one next to it is barely under the gum, but still is So we've had no break in the clingy, screaming through the night behaviour for about a month now. BAH.

Can you do a bit more than sprinkle? Tip it on by the bucket load, I need a ton of it please! Iz has one juuuuuust under her gum and we can *almost* feel it. She's been awful today, probably the worst so far with the teething Wish it would hurry up and come through
