gah she isnt quite 18 months yet, not til next week but she is becoming even more of a diva lately- she just gets SO angry when she dont get her own way and communicates a lot of the time with piercing shrieks- omg they are actually EXTREMELY painful! feels like your ears gonna bleed THAT painful! we are seriously contemplating getting some of those acoustic earplugs which filter out the high pitch range which damages ears. i think i am going deaf too, sometimes i have to ask someone to repeat themselves 2 or 3 times!

gah dont kno what to do. tried naughty chair but its hit and miss whether it works. sometimes she'll sulk and come for quiet hugs other times she'll have a hugee tantrum, clenching her fists and going red in the face!!!

ah, what to do with such a stroppy madamski? i think i'm already putting boyf off ttc! eep need help here!

Ooh this sounds excatiy the same as Willow and just like you i have no clue what to do other then ignore her when she is having a tantrum  :(

get a baby remote with a mute button...

Seriously though... the way I dealt with tantrums with Tia and have started to do with lil miss.. is to remove them or the object from the situation... make no eye contact and not speak to them the entire time of the tantrum.. If you HAVE to speak to them... whisper.. I dunno if its the idea that they are being spoken too softly but it usually diffuses the situation... and sometimes... kids just need to cry out the frustration... so let them get on with it, if they are at home, put them somewhere safe, like their room... and just walk away. :D
