jayde has got a sticky eye and been told to bathe with boiled cooled water is that the best way to get rid of it???????//

I was given saline solution to wash Sam's with when he had it.

Yeah I was given some saline solution too but when it ran out I used cooled boiled water and cotton wool. I used to have to do it about 6 times a day. Nathans turned out to be infected though.

Stanley had this for the first few weeks, and we used the boiled water and cotton wool.

It went away on it's own but took a while.

christopher had this from about 3 days old hun and its only just gone in the last week either use cooled boiled water and cotton wool or ask for some saline drops but both do same thing apparently a lot of babies get it because they dont make tears in the first few weeks so the tear ducts get blocked i was told only to worry about it if the white bit of the eye goes red if that happened id have to take him to doctors
