I signed myself up to do the race for life this year i've been sayin for years i would do it....

and now i am on the 3rd of june :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

woooooooo i did it in cleethorpes two years ago it was great i ran for my uncle who sadly passed away and it was so heartbreaking seeing some people why they were racing, i raised 300 pounds, (almost just under) and came 112 out of something like 2000 people i was so proud but ill tell you what nic its nakering lol you will love it, i think if i ran it now id come 2000th

i can't wait to do it but my mate who did it last year said to me not to read other peoples label things as i will cry the whole way round :? :? :?

she said that last year there was a little girl who had cancer on her label she wrote she was running for herself and then there we're 25 firefighters who's labels said they were running for her

i feel very lucky to have not lost anyone to cancer so i am running for every person who has ever been affected by cancer

oh god thats so sad, im gonna jump on the morbid wagon now and tell you that in front of me was a woman running for her son of 18 months who she lost to cancer and her daughter of 7 months who had lukemia and was not doing good. heart breaking, but just think how many lives you are effecting doing it, it is such a brilliant feeling when you cross that line you kbow youve done such a wonderfull thing,

I used to do it every year but they changed the date of it in Aberdeen and it's always the weekend of my wedding anniversary now and we usually go away somewhere.

I still do fundrasing for the Cancer Charity and the Anchor Unit in Aberdeen as they mean so much to me after the help they gave my mum.
