Sick pay and Statutory holidays

If you are off sick, should you be paid for the company statutory holiday or should you be paid as a sick day.

As far as I know you should be paid as off sick but thats only if your company pays employees sick pay

if you are off sick and and I'm assuming you get paid sick leave you would get sick pay and loose the statuary holiday.
