just come back from my scan and they have moved my dates, so im now 13 weeks 2 days.

Also found out im having a c section at around 38 weeks.

Thanks for all the help and advice over the last few weeks, good luck to every one hope you all have wonderful pregnancies and will see you soon in the 2nd trimester.

yeah apparently its lying looking forward with head up, and was asleep when we had scan but had hands up to either side of face. even the sonographer was saying awwwww

i think it looks more like an evil skeleton with its head on fire

ah your scan pics are fab. Can I ask why you have to have a C section at 38 weeks - please do tell me to mind my own business if you dont want to share I was just wondering how they can tell that already.

my last pregnancy i had been in labour on and off for a week and made it to 5cm without really noticing but then nothing

so they induced me at 42 weeks which failed as baby couldnt get any further down. so had a section in the end.

but i had bad infections after so i have bad scar tissue inside, dr said i can do a trial of labour but the risk of a uterine tear is quite high so i would have to have alot of monitoring and not be able to move about freely in labour and after my experience of being on monitors whilst being induced thats the last thing i want, it exacerated the pain in my back soo much being stuck on a bed for hours on end.


i would rather have a real natural labour, and being able to move about and use birthing balls etc or i know its going to result in a section again so i agreed its the best thing. im going for another scan at 33 weeks to see the size of the baby then they will book me into for the section.
