Sad news from Serum

For those of you that have cycled at Serum.

'Sadly, Penny's husband, Thymios, gifted embryologist and scientist and co-founder of Serum clinic died yesterday in hospital after a battle with cancer. He will be deeply mourned by Penny, his son Dimitris and daughter Ireni. The clinic staff are very sad as you would imagine, but dedicated to his legacy and Serum clinic and looking after all their patients. Naturally many of us will want to send messages of sympathy. Please can I suggest to POST them to the clinic so they can read them at their own pace and are not flooded with emails. The post address is Serum, Evinu 8, 11527 Athens, Greece.'

I'm so sorry to read this Syd, I haven't personally spoken with Penny but found Serum to be so helpful. Life is so cruel, to think he was an embryologist who gave life, yet he himself had it taken from him, it makes you wonder what it's all about. My condolences are with his family. Very sad ��. xx

Terribly sad. A couple of people saw Penny in the Clinic at the weekend, she was telling them she needs to hear lots of good news as that will keep her going. Amazing women.
