Hi ladies, just wondering if you have any good recipes I could use to batch cook/freeze? Thank you in advance.xx

Is lo eating meat/chewing yet or still on purée?

Most things you can freeze tbh. I puree up a big batch of each veg then freeze it in ice cube trays then I can mix and match his dinners!!

Sweet potato, carrot, parsnip, courgette, swede, green bean, broccoli, pear, apple separately, or a mixture. I got some natty containers from Amazon with lids, one was the annabel karmal one, (looks like a large ice cube tray) the other was a set of 6 individual ones xx

This is what I Do too. I have Annabel Karmel's recipe book too but so far K has only had sweet potato and carrots.

I've just got some of the food ice cube tray things. :) looking forward to using them. Been to shop and got sweet potato and carrot for cooking and freezing but I also got some brocoli, avocado and bananas. See how those go for now. :) x

You cant freeze banana or avocado (just incase you didnt know!!) I literally walk down the aisle in tesco and pick up a new fruit and veg everytime im in there!! n I have made homemade stock too so I pick and choose!! As he is getting older I am starting to make 'meals' but the veg is a good failsafe and i know I can bulk things out with them!!

I like strawberry apple and peach, carrot and sweet potato, and the chicken casserole recipe on the Annabel karmel website. I put a freezer bag over his baby bowl and spoon the amount in I want then freeze it. Then when I defrost it I can actually open the bag back up over the bowl and feed him straight from that.

Have a look at the Annabel Karmel recipe website, there are loads of great ideas on there x

The best thing about it is if you fill his bowl with hot water you can pop the bag in the hot water to warm up. It's a good idea just to twist the top of the bag not tie it off cos it can be a pain in the butt.

Wow!! Im so impressed (can you tell I dont get out much!!) Im going to do that with the food I make him at the weekend!!
