Question about online tesco shop....

I wanted beef mince and they brought organic beef mince which is £1 more... my printed receipt from the driver just has normal mince on it....have I been charged for normal mince then?

As far as Im aware it all goes by the printed reciept they hand you, so Id say you have been charged for normal mince

Yeah, normal price by the sounds of it Urchin. Usually you have to pay more if your substitution is more than you originally wanted.

I was under the impression that if they substitute your original item for something more expensive you will pay the same price as the item you originally ordered.
I may be wrong, havent ordered my shopping to be delivered for ages.

I just thought if they substituted you paid whatever price the stuff you end up with was.

normally they send us stuff that isn't buy one get one free... they don't give you those free do they?

Hmmm I need to have a word then, we are always charged the normal price for substitions that are more expensive than the original item ordered, you can send it back with the driver if your not happy with it when he goes through your order with you, although they try to give you stuff that is less expensive from what I gather.
