Considering a week ago my son was sleeping from 12 midnight till 8.30 in the morning i decided enough is enough as we started work last week nannying so we have to get up at 7 and ryan was so tired and so was i!!!!!
The last week has been brilliant! I have been putting him in his bed with his milk each night and hes been going to sleep till 7 when i get him up or about 8 when we dont work. Tonight i put him down to bed at 8 with his milk and i knew he was tired so thought i shouldnt have a problem! he drank his milk like normal but then he started crying!!!!! I thought im not going to get him out and rock him because thats what he will keep expecting, So i put his dummy in and walked out the room for a few minutes and just went in every few minutes to let him know i was there and he finally fell asleep at 9pm!
(He wasnt crying uncontrallably or anything otherwise i wouldnt have left him lol)
Annnd he's 7 months old tomorrow!! and his sitting up is reeally coming along! ahh i love him so much!!
His dad doesnt know what he's missing!! (he hasnt seen him since 3rd july)
We finnnally have a decent bedtime routine in place and im gonna carry on with the 8pm bedtime and not getting him out if he cries! i think he knows im a soft touch! ohh and he drank out of his beaker for the first time today tooo!!!
