professional photography??

mornin' i have seen quite a few of you have had professional portraits done of you and your families/OH's and was wondering how much it cost you, what packages there were etc. me and DF are thinking of getting one done for valentines day - something different as we just buy a load of old rubbish - its something we can keep!

i cant find any websites that are in Sheffield to tell me roughly how much they cost so thought i would ask you girlies'

i got mine done at pixifoto they are usually based in mothercarebut i think they might just be for children & families? but they arereally good we gor about 10 large shots for 210

Pixiphoto did ours too but they were in Boots. I got a special offer of about 8 large, 16 medium, 32 small and loads of passport size ones for £95.

I've hired a photographer for my maternity photographs (capturing my growth and then a proper shoot once I'm nearer my EDD and thus huge) and then she'll do a newborn shoot days after the birth to capture things like baby's tiny hand inside daddy's huge hand type thing, me and DH all loved up with our new bundle etc. She'll do another shoot at about 5/6 months old and one at the year old marker. £300 for the lot. It's usually £100 per booking, i.e. £100 for maternity, £100 for newborn and so forth but since I've booked up all 4 sessions I've got one free type thing. I'm sure she'll make a packet out of me for the photograph costs anyway. Can't wait. Not sure where I'll have the baby/toddler/child and family portraits done yet, possibly with the same lady if we work well together over these coming sessions.

I used to do alot of modelling and im very good friends with a fantastic photographer and hes offerd to do them for free well chuffed hes saving me a small fortune
