Prince Lionheart Slumber Bear Plus - Reccommend?

Can anyone reccommend the prince lionheart slumber bear plus? We are having difficulty getting our newborn daughter to sleep in her crib. My mum has offered to buy us the slumber bear,but I don't want her to buy it, without it being reccommended to us. It's suppose to mimic sounds heard in the womb.

I have one for Logan and he's never been into it. The womb noise, white noise & sea sounds all made him cry louder! On the very odd occasion I've used it its just been the music (which is awful music too, really poor quality!)
I wouldn't buy it again. (Well I didn't buy it, my mum did) I never got Logan to sleep in his moses basket, he slept in bed with me. He did have a couple of months sleeping in his cot from 3 months old but now he's back in bed with us

I would save your money and put it towards a jumperoo when your little girls older. They are brilliant!
