Pregnicare

Im coming up to 12 weeks and im not sure whether to carrying on taking pregnicare.
I took just folic acid with my LO and was advised to stop taking it at 12 weeks but with pregnicare having all different vitamins in, do i carry on or stop? x x

Personally I stopped, mainly as it was too expensive for me to carrry on with at the time.

personally i took teh conception ones for over a year and they did nothing, Never got caught

I just switched to a healthy diet and less stress. I did take folic acid once I found out till I was 12 weeks, then i didn't bother as I was told it did nothing after then x

The pregnacare original can be took all through pregnancy and breastfeeding. I am going to continue taking them all the way through. I bought mine in boots on 3 for 2 so didnt work out too expensive. As 3 boxes covers you whole pregnancy.

shouldn't prenatal vitamins be free for pregnant women?
I'm not taking any at the moment, my blood tests were very good but I want to read more on the subject

Im not sure Elex, ive never really looked into it.
I spoke to the midwife yesterday who advised me to keep on taking them as they are full of the best vitamins for the baby also with me being on iron tablets with DS, they might help x x

I've been taking folic acid since before I conceived and then bought the superdrug pregnancy care but I'm terrible for forgetting! I got a voucher for vitamins from healthy start so I need to go and pick them up. Gp said I could just keep taking folic acid all through the pregnancy.
