When this story came out at first I sort of thought, so what, its still a women having a baby. Cutting bits here & there and taking testosterone doesn't change that fact.

I'm all for people who want to change gender etc, but this person has not had full gender reassignment surgery.

'He' has only been living as a man, i.e. dressing as one etc and hasn't had the down below bits done at all.

If it were someone I knew I would accept them as a man at that point, but I think once 'he' got pregnant that he is no 'longer living as a man'. Once 'he' got pregnant 'he' gave up that right to be called a man and IMO is then living as a woman again.

BTW, 'he' is not the first person to actually do this. There have been plenty of people who had babies while attempting to live as a man, they just haven't lowered themselves to making money out of it by selling their stories.

I'm sure that the 'life of misery' won't be caused by its mum being its dad, but will be caused by everyone knowing about it.

If the parents hadn't publicised the whole thing then folk would just assume that mum is mum and dad is dad IYKWIM.

you know what - after a week of the news being filled with kids being stabbed, abused, killed etc to read about a beautiful little baby being born into a family where she is wanted and will be loved is just fab. How can that not be right???Couldn't give a toss if her parents are male, shemale, alien, bearded/non bearded. It won't matter to her so it shouldn't matter to us. unusual families sell their stories all the time, you see it when they have multples, etc etc. I don't know why they wanted to sell their story,perhaps someone was going toleak the story so the family thought they would get there first. tbh I couldn't care less, its still a positive story

To me it's a women having a baby, if a genetic male had a baby now that would be a story!!!!

If "she'd" had a baby then decided she wanted to be a man people wouldnt make a huge fuss about it and i think it's great that someone who see's themselves as male would go through a very feminine thing such as pregnancy to have a family.

All i hope is that they stay out of the media lime light cos thats not what that child needs.
