Pregnancy mask?

Does anyone else have one? I already had some patchy pigment on my face but it's REALY noticable now! Just at the top of my cheek bones, under the outer edge of both eyes!

Has anyone else got this or do you know how long it will take to go away or if it will after the birth?

I havent heard of this to be honest, maybe something u can discuss with your midwife. Hope it goes honey!

I've heard that goes after birth.

I haven't got that, but I have grown a load of tiny skin tags all over the place which I definately didn't have before!

I've got a few different coloured patches here and there which I think are pregnancy related, but from what I've read and heard, everything does return to pre-pregnancy state after birth, not sure how long it takes but yes I think it will go for you

I initially thought this post was going to be about bump masks, casts of pregnant ladies bumps, not sure why I'm mentioning it now, its an interesting artistic take on pregnancy though

Get some sharp clean scissors and cut them off! Doesn't really hurt although they bleed a bit!

well my freckles have become more noticable and darker and more of them have grown on my face under my eyes across my cheeks lol..i have to double the amount of concealer i wear i hate it!

Basically

A skin tag is a common but harmless skin growth.
Skin tags are frequently found on the eyelids, neck, chest, armpits, and groin.
Treatments include freezing, tying off with a thread or suture, or cutting off.

I got some in my last pregnancy and have noticeably more this time around. (Also more freckles too).

Yes I have a random new freckle above my left nipple!

Yes I have some of these, they are at the top of my bump under my breasts, not sure about the thread treatment or cutting them off though eek lol

Do be careful if you try to cut off the skin tags. I got rid of 3 last night using the (very sharp) nail clippers. Boy did they bleed

Thanks everyone found this thread really interesting cos I've got some skin tags on my neck and at the top of my bump! I've had them on my neck before (years ago) and previously had them removed at my GPs but didn't realise that they were common during pregnancy. It's surprising what you find out on here!
