Hey girls hows everyone doing?

quick update on me .. heard babies heartbeat couple days ago was amazing! so strong and found straight away 150 beats per min! still have no sign of a bump yet :S and would not know i was pregnant at all if it wasnt for the fact i STILL have sickness ! which the midwife has told me to see the doctors about ...

but anyway as the title says prams ... wow how hard is picking one! its like choosing a car! lol! We've decided on a travel system, but there are so many different types and brands to choose from! im spending all day and night looking online.. i really want one i think it will make it feel more real.. even tho it wont be kept at ours.
i saw one on ebay i like but i dont know if i trust buying one that i cant see in person and feel first? ... anyone no any good brands they would recommend? We're going to look at a silvercross later, its brand new but she's selling it for £150 as she got 2 (bargin)! although it is gray with red which i think is a bit boyish .. but guess it dosnt really matter.. hows everyone else doing on the pram front? xxx

Hi, I brought my iCandy Apple 2nd hand of ebay, chassis, carycot and seat unit with raincovers, and jogger wheel. for £175, Bargain in black.
need to go round shops and look and have a play with 1st.
my friend used to run a pram shop so i knew what i wanted.

I know what you mean hun, prams are a nightmare so many different kinds, we are still looking at them, going to wait till after xmas before we buy one. I love th i candy peach but its a bit pricey so not decided for sure, seen lots of ladies getting bargains off ebay on here though xx

oo that is a bargin!!! i do like the look and prices on ebay.. but FIL is paying for pram so trying to get a new one if poss lol its really hard we dont have many pram shops in plymouth to look at :S

hey hun i've got a quinny buzz 3 with the maxi cosy car seat love it because it's so easy to use have u got a toys r us by you if so pop and look in babies r us cuz they usually have a wide range of prams, and they are pretty reasonable aswell! got my car seat for £100 instead of £125 so really good and it came with rain cover canopy and adapters to fit it to my pram!

Chosing a pram is so hard! Mothercare actually have loads - the shop is so small but they do have quite a few to see! Theres a pram shop at the bottom of town which is open 10 - 4 (I think although I've never been in!) and I think theres one in Ivybridge - not 100% sure though. We ended up going up to Bristol to look at them all in one place as it was easier for us. Plymouth needs better shops! x x x

We decided that to be honest baby isn;t actually going to care what colour it is and we both like Purple so that's what we have gone with, we went to look at it and it's amazing, so easy to handle, it's a one click system so you can change from carry cot to car seat to pushchair easily, the back wheels come off so if they get to muddy or you need more space fitting it in the car it makes it easier, it's awesome

We wanted a hard carry cot as were not having a moses basket and if baby didn;t like it's cot we could put it in there.

yer i like the britax and teutiona untill my friend who ran the shop pointed out few things. i do LOVE the purple though.

To be honist if your gonna sell it after ur more likly to get ur money back with the iCandy Peach.

Becciboo we have chosen the Britax because we have a Renault Clio so needed something that folded small.

Angie can I ask what your friend said, i'm still looking at downsides too so it might help

Yer she had britax they had lots of customer returns for diffrent reasons. Main thing I think was the wheels.

I got my Graco travel system - pushchair, carrycot, car seat, foot muff and raincover for £30 second hand. Quick wash and disenfectant and we are good to go!!!!! lol

went and looked at the silvercross and we decided to get it! its £375 stilll in there website and she's selling it new still in its box's for £150 , its from birth to 4 years old.. has swivel and lockable wheels.. baby carrycot, toddler and car seat . its so nice and more neutral coloured then i thought it was

i have a ka and im gonna be squeezing a gracco travel system into it. i'll put the back seats down if i have to lol. if its too much hassle i'll get a new car instead as ive had mine a year now and it may not get thru another mot lol

i was gunna get a graco.. but heard lots of bad things about them.. that there really heavy and bulky hard to take around on your own and that they brake :s ... but i guess everyones different. im a bit if weakling so needed a lighter one lol x
