Hello girls!

Went to inlaws yesterday and bless them theyd got us a pram..a 3 wheeler travel system its a Urban Detour..Its GAWJUS! But its too big, bulky n heavy for little 4 foot 8 me  So Andy has decided he will use this one and not to be ungratful but we will get me a smaller handled lightweight one.... Behind the Urban Detour you cant even see me behind the pram! Luckily they only paid £50 for it from a friend even tho it is in mint cond! SO question what is the best pram..small handle height, easy for car, lightweight to lift, parent facing for the early day then outward facing for as baby grows? Also did you have pram in house before baby was born? As weve been told its bad luck :wall2:

Well....Im 5'2''......and I found it difficult to find a pram I felt comfortable with lol. Bless you and your 4'8'' self!! I found the quinny buzz quite small, and it doesnt seem as bulky as the other so I went for that but theres the icandy as well, which i think is about the same height and probably a bit more light weight maybe.

And Ive had the pram in the house (up as well lol....i wanted to check it was all working!) since about 20 weeks. I think its fine! x

I love love love my petite star zia, although baby can't face you in early days it's just so lightweight - I'm 5"2.

I have an iCandy apple too, which is a lovely pram but don't be deceived it is quite bulky - not easy to lift in and out of a car all day!! Got fed up with lugging it around so got the zia. I have taken it abroad with us too and it's just fab - cost me £99 at a local nursery store! It folds down really small and you can fit it into a carry case for travel, it's similar to the quinny Zapp but it reclines and has a shopping basket.

I think petite star have brought out a travel system called kurvi 4 which is supposed to be light weight etc buy I haven't tried it out. I think the ICandy cherry is much mote light weight than the apple too and u can get them at quite a reasonable price.

im 4ft 11 and we have bought the mamas and papas sola. I thought it was quite a good height for me and handles go slightly higher for OH.
I have back troubles so we needed a lightweight pram for when im on my own. this suited us perfectly.
We don't have a car though so couldn't help there.

We looked at icandy peach which i found similar to the one we bought apart from the price. i do have to admit though if our budget was bigger i would have got the icandy instead. :)

I love my Bugaboo Bee, it's tiny and very light.

Im a short arse to :( and it was hard to find the right pram for me its bit big for me but hubby thinks its ok i hope so lol. although its at me sisters due to bad luck also my house isnt wide enough haha. im 5t sumet i think ... lol.
least ya hubby can use the one for him :).
it is better to find one that it makes you feel not like a short bum :D lol. gud luck finding ur pram hun xx

i've got a britax one, which has adjustable handles, but i dont think they sell it anymore, i'm a shortarse too at 5'1! i quite often go out with my umbrella stroller and a baby carrier for ella, it's a tesco value one and everyone else hates it cos its tiny, but i love it!

iv got the mothercare mychoice, im 5'2 and when its on the lowest setting its even low for me! i love it too it pushes lovely :)
