Poo Question

I have been weaning Oliver for about 4 weeks now. His Poos are really hard and he is only pushing small bits out. (TMI) I think he is bunged up. he gets tears in his eyes from pushing so hard and not gretting anywhere.

What shound it look like?

His poo should look a bit like ours really. it should also take the colour of the food he is eating. Make sure he drinks plenty of fluid if he drinks them or give him plenty of fruits and veg that contains water. it will soften his poo. if he is really constipated, try some glycerin suppositories, it is non medecinal, it just softens the poo.

Phoebe's poo went a bit like that when we weaned her.

Is Oliver showing any signs that It's hurting when he poos?

Jamie looks so funny when he's doing a poo, he pushes & pushes & I think there's gonna be loads then it turns out to be a marble!! Its very soft though.

Is Olivers soft? If it it he shouldn't be contispated, you could always give him a bit of prune juice to help things along a bit.

aww hun try the prune juice or fruit as others said i had to resort to supositories for Kiara it was aweful
