I'd preferably like a dress but not frilly, girly, or pink...
I don't want anything specifically xmas - i.e. no red with white trim, no reindeer outfit or anything

something bright, funky, that can be worn with tights and that will suit a bald baby (haha)

or an outfit that looks like it's for a special occassion...

i've been to loads of shops and haven't found anything that i like

*edit, sorry mods, i think this should have been put in the shopping section, i could have sworn that's where i was!

Consider it moved like magic!

Silly question and you may hate this idea, but have you tried charity shops, car boots or NCT sales? I got DD's Christmas day dress from an NCT sale, its beautiful.

Otherwise, what about Monsoon but its quite expensive.

P.S. Bald babies look cute with a matching headband...

Valentine Xxx

Haven't tried charity shops but I might have a browse!! Thanks for the idea!

And headbands sound like a good idea too! *ponders*

I've found lots of dresses online but nothing that makes me want one yet... hmm i think i'm fussy, will def have a look in some charity shops xx

p.s. thanks for moving it!

I know it sounds silly, but Primark and Woolies have got some gorgeous little girl things in at the mo, cheap too :) great dresses. If you don't have one near you I can take some pictures for you tomorrow lol

I'm about to browse ebay for a Christmas outfit for Maddison. Headbands are so cute if you get one to match the dress. Maddison has long hair and I'm going to buy ribbons to match her dress and put her in pigtails on Christmas day

thanks guys, we have a woolies but the nearest primark is about 30-40 min away, we might go there before xmas but it depends as it gets manic! our woolies isn't too great but i'll have a look. i'll keep trawling ebay too :)

gtg the baby awakes!

i was in asda last night and they have some GORGEOUS party type dresses and
shrugs for little girls, i was awwwing over them, but oh said they wont suit jack

How about something from NEXT, they do gorgeous baby stuff & free next day delivery with this code X2506 untill Thursday.

I bought Ella's in Tesco, it is red satin type material with white spots and a kind of net top layer iykwim!! It has a little red cardigan over the top - think it was about £15.

Tesco have fab dresses! H&M too and I LOVE New Look. Its not badly priced (never looked at the girls things though ;))

Gosh New look has some fab stuff and at the mo has lots of money off stuff too. I would highly reccommend for nice baby girl stuff, nothing over £10 normal price, the dresses are beautiful and hardly any pink!!

h&m have lovely stuff - i love that top outfit that Gem found too

(but nooo to headbands on bald babies  )

H&M have some STUNNING mandarin style dresses for baby girls. They have matching shoes too. I'd have got one for Becky if I hadn't bought one in Tesco already. I have the same Tesco one as Magic Monkey, will get a pic of her in it (have a scan of her in it but it's crap quality.

Not a fan of headbands on babies either. :shhh:

hehe, I did try Faith in a headband today and it didn't suit her one bit! Bless her!

I GOT A DRESS though.

From Asda in the end! And it is a teeny bit girly, and it is red ad chirstmassy    everything i said i didn't want... lol.

It's gorgeous deep red velvet but it's not puffy and it's nice and simple. OH fell in love with it and I didn't have the heart to argue, i'm sure she'll look lovely :) it is rather perdy :)

P.S - love your suggestions Gem, might buy them anyway :P xx

no worries suzie , can u tell i like at least looking at the girlie stuff ! lmao
