Well this for the past 2 weeks Kiara is down to one bf in the morning.
Well this morning i had to wake her up at 6 and just put her in the van and she totally forgot about needing milk.
Well i am now in sooo much pain no one can even go near them i just need to know how long does this horid pain last and how long till it at least gets feeling at least a wee bit better . I said to Bernie couldnt i just bf forever

How did you cut her down to one feed a day? did you just stop offering her the boob?

Thanks for the reply hun.
I started taking out the one half hour before bedf for a week , then the first nap feed for a week it went great, then the second one for a week, and now its the if she wakes up at 5 am and i want her to sleep longer and when she wakes in the morning i usually bf her .
Must say i chated last night i was so engorged i could see the lumps of milk popping up so i gave her a tiny bit to give me a little relief .
Please girls i need some ideas so i can do this any suggestions would be great!

I know i cant beleve im 18 weeks either yikes, gonna be all over with before i know it.

Sarah my pump is broken it wont sucktion no more.
So if you pump wont that not stop the milk production im confused??

Hello,

If you continue pumping then the milk supply will still be there. But as its not "natural" you wont produce as much, eventally the milk may dry up as there will be less hormones been produced.

( Sorry,If that does not make sense, I find it really hard to explian what I mean when tpying!)

Thanks jadie It makes sense. Wish my pump was working my my breasts arent nearly as bad as teh first night after i let Kiara empty it a little only my left is getting a little lumpy after almost 3 days
