Yep! Same in our house, I did have the 3 of them obsessed but the hubby has weaned himself off thankfully. Most stupidest thing we done was buy another ps3 for Xmas for my oldest when we already had one in he house, he wanted a laptop but after they were all fighting over the game he wanted his own ps3... Now I can't get the bugger off there..so I have one on the one downstairs and one on the one upstairs! Josh is really obsesse though and have had to have words, he gets so grumpy when he's on there, we walk in and talk to him and he's switching his headset off moaning that everyone i can hear me! I can feel the leads doing a vanishing act one day...

Same here too! It's a nightmare eh? My I/h is obsessed with cod! Luckily for me he gets up early in the morning and does it whilst I'm sleeping then turns it off when I get up he tends to forget to eat/sleep/drunk/toilet when he's on it. Theyhave competitions at work too. Men!

competitions at work?! that's horrible, means he'll play it more to get 'better', how can you get any better at a game you play near 24 hours a day? lolll, good that he only does it in the morning though before you wake up, may suggest that to my OH

Thing is my o/h does that for real in his job, why he needs to do it on a game too is beyond me

same in my house they sit and play it all the time. hubby forgets what time it is half the time when he is on it. and if he has had a late one on it i make sure he gets up in the morning early when i do he not playing that all night then sleeping all day. my son is sitting playing on it the now and they moan when i shout them through for the food told them they can starve

As I read this I found myself chuckling and nodding cos OH is sat next to me in the kitchen playing it on his PS3 - he's set our spare T.V. up in here because my 15 year old nephew is playing it on the xbox in the living room ROFL.
I have to say that it's not as bad as when he was hooked on World of Warcraft, I threw him out of the house a couple of times when that addiction was at it's height. You could say that I was the ultimate gaming widow at that point lol. He knows where to draw the line these days as I have been known to resort to drastic measures to stop him playing. He loves his PS3 too much to push me to the limit again.

nancy!!! you sound like you got him sorted now though lmao. reading your reply made me laugh! i've never resorted to doing drastic measures but i sure have thought about it, but i know i'd well hurt him if i actually threw xbox off cliff! pmsl. he's not that bad, the only thing i don't get is that he plays with with this mate all the time and then when his mate comes round they play it more :S i think to myself, go out and get a beer or something like normal men! even when they are out they look for time crisis 4 arcade game. lol, me and OH's sister came to the conclusion men just want to play games.. in every aspect of life!

Well I think I jinxed myself because yesterday he went on strike and played all day, he knew he was pissing me off and insisted on keeping his mic on with his mates on the other end....so I confiscated it and hid it in the nappy bag then gave him a right royal telling off before just switching it off, then I went on Facebook and changed my status to Game Over because one of the mates was online there too hehe.
If you decide to partake in making 3 babies then you need to realise that gaming from when you wake up to when you go to bed is a thing of the past mate!

omg exactly! i totally agree with everything you said. you don't see us woman inviting our mates round all the time and playing poker or something! 'cause it's exactly the same thing. i hope he has learnt his lesson now! lmao @ nappy bag, what a good hiding place!! xxx
my oh plays left 4 dead 2. its just loads of screaming and gunshots, really unpleasant sounds when you're trying to relax after a hard day at work!!! Ive been tempted a couple of times to hit the main fuse switch and claim the xbox is tripping it!!
