Hello everyone Well after nearly three weeks I have finally got round to posting some pics! I've managed to get online precisely once since giving birth, and even then I only managed 5 minutes before baby started crying
I had our little guy by elective section at 9.44am on 9 May, weighing 7lb 12oz. He is such a little darling and I am totally in love with him! I'm afraid he still doesn't have a name yet though reason being, we've had a lot going on in the last month ... 12 days before I gave birth, OH's two sons came to live with us totally unexpectedly. As you can imagine, it has all been very stressful and I'm still a bit shell-shocked by it all, and this is why I've not been able to get my head around choosing a name or much else really ... I've gone from one child (my 10-year-old son) to four children in the space of two weeks, but we are working on the name I promise and as soon as we know I will come on here and let you all know too!
Anyway, he's doing really well - he only wakes once in the night, anywhere between about 2-4am, and is breastfeeding well. My section scar's taking a while to heal this time; oh the perils of having one at my age (36 almost 37 ) and I'm on antibiotics as there's some infection in there. Tired all the time, sore all the time, but still ..... he is just a dream come true and worth every twinge! Here are some pics:-
Just a few hours old ...
Ready to leave hospital!
With his dad ...
I hope you are all well, and look forward to catching up with you all very soon
