Photo Printer or Online Printing?

I'm thinking of asking for a photo printer for crimbo. Do you think they are worth it? I don't print a lot of photos, so when I do it online I send a HUGE bundle and get it all done in a oner.

We have a printer and to be honest it is great if you print out the odd few piccies here and there. We have noticed that if you want the same quality you get from the printing shops you need to buy the good quality paper. Ink isnt too cheap either. But like i said we find it handy if we need to print off just a few piccies.

But i also use jessops for printing in bulk as it is cheap and quick, if you need more than 200 printing then its 5p per print which is a bargain

So i suppose what i am saying is what do you think your usage will be as to print large quantities on our printer would cost too much money in paper and ink.

I wouldn't bother buying a specific photo printer Lainey. We have a mid range normal printer and if we want to print off the odd photo it's very good quality. For online printing we use Truprint and they forever have offers on such as refer a friend and you both get pictures free. If you want to go for a printer get a decent one that does "normal" printing too
