I was in the store at the weekend, forgot to mention this earlier.... and they had so much lovely affordable maternity wear. Very fashionable as well.

Lots of smocks, tunics and wrap dress/tops. All ranging from about £12-£18 a top.....

For anyone wanting to peruse. I thought there range was much better than New Looks maternity wear.

wow lol peacocks is going up in the world it used 2 be a nasty shop LOL

I bought ALL my maternity stuff there and that was before they had the range! I just bought bigger sizes in stuff because it was cheap enough to buy loads :D

I love it, not as manic as Primark and the stuff's better and almost as cheap!

on the topic of Peacocks, I popped into my local one to look for some school clothes for kids and they had a mega sale on!

I got them both UMBRO fold into a bag light rain/sports jacketss reduced to £2 for their football training.

I also got Tom a green fur lined hooded parka for playing out ( it grieves me when he gets his proper jacket dirty and ruined) reduced from £16 to £3!

they have t shirts and sweatwrs and cord combats reduced to around £1-£2!!!

Pop down to your local store, apparently sales are on everywhere!

lainey do you know what size their maternity range covers?

lol i was looking for a shirt with a tank top on it and couldnt find one in my size anywhere, i ended up getting a maternity one from peacocks! Its lovely though.

They have just opened one in Aberdeen a few weeks before xmas and I've not been down there yet - might go have a lookie now!!

Am from aberdeen 2!!!! Its really good.... but one week it can be shit, and the next week they have really good stuff. SO i reccomend you go afew times over the course of a few months, and not write it off on your first trip you go there.

The only thing is they are abit like primark, so if you see something you like, and think "oh il get it next week" just buy it!!! because when you go in next week 99% chance it ownt be there, there stock changes all the time.

(I actually bought the maternity wrap dress for my work and am not pregnant i loved the fabric!!!)

As for the other question about sizes, I dont know how the sizing works, but i bought the petite materinity wrap dress "petite size"

But there was sizes marked on all the clothes.

My OH works for peacocks and my mum, they work for head office so i get 40% off :cheer: :cheer: had no maternity wear in then untill end of my pregnancy wasnt happy, but we buy alot of Alfies babies grows and sleep suits from there,

i work for the peacocks group too :D only get 20% off most of the time but we get vouchers every so often for 40% so i save my buying till then :cheer: the maternity wear is great just not enough range yet in our local shop xxxxxxxxx

I went in the other day and I didnt see any maternity wear but I bought loads of cute little baby clothes and a few bits and pieces for Josh. Their kids clothes are lovely and the prices are great :D
