Right my cooker is gross and desperately needs cleaning  its not been done for ages and has started to smell like grease the second you turn it on :puke: We're talking baked on grease here so its no easy task, why didnt we keep ontop of it :wall:

Can anyone recommend any good oven cleaners? We've used Ovenpride before and its was ok but not brilliant, anyone used any miracle ones....

Thanks :)

Okay, don't judge me and I'l let you into the best oven cleaning secret ever!.....

it had been 3, ok, 4, oh, what the hell, 6.5 years and I'd never cleaned my oven.

Morrisons (prob other supermarkets too) sell in an orange box a cleaner called "Oven Pride". £4.99ish

OMG, It is amazing! All you do is put your racks in a bag (provided) with some of the cleaner and leave overnight. Put the gel on door, walls etc. and leave overnight. In the mornnig it all slides off.

Honestly, no scrubbing whatsoever. It was actually enjoyable!!

i use Fairy power spray & thats fab :D

cleaning my oven....no thanks :rotfl:

Think I may give oven pride another go then, my OH did it last time but doesn't think he left it on long enough as it didnt work all that great. Will let u know how we get on! :D

Funny that this thread has appeared, as I cooked some duck legs in the oven last night, and loads of the fat splattered everywhere and I was thinking the oven needed a clean. That Oven Pride stuff sounds good, might give that a go sometime.
