lol i saw this link the other day. What a bunch of numptys, it clearly states that the lane is for authorised use only (i.e buses, mail vans) these idiots thought they could beat the poles !

Was on the news the other day that people in manchester are complaining about the automatic bollards because of damage to cars. Point is if they werent trying to illegally tailgate and enter a zone they're not supposed to be in then the cars wont get damanged - like duh!
